কার্নিটিন ও ফ্যাটি লিভারের সম্পর্ক

্রফ্যাট হলো এনার্জির উৎস

হার্ট,লিভার ,কিডনি ও মাসল(মাংস) ফ্যাট ব্যবহার করে।রিবোফ্লাবিন,নিকোটিনিক এসিড ও কারনিটিন এর অভাবে ফ্যাট মোবিলাইজেশনে বাধা প্রাপ্ত হয়।

ফ্যাট লিভারে ট্রাইগ্লিসারাইড হিসেবে জমা থাকে।

এক মাত্র ফ্রি ফ্যাটি এসিড এর ক্যাটাবলিজম হয় এবং এনার্জি  রিলিজ করে।

অধিক উৎপাদনশীল গাভী ও লেয়ারে ফ্যাট মোবিলাইজেশন বেশি হয়।

Here important point is that CARNITINE IS USED FOR SHUTTLING OF FATTY ACIDS ACROSS MITOCHINDIARAL MEMBRANE. When lipid turnover inside cells is high and methionine and lysine supply is compromised carnitine deficiency arises and due to deficinecy of carnitine fatty acid couldn’t transfer through mitochondrial membranes for its oxidation. This causes accumulation fatty acids inside cells leads to beginning fatty liver. Initially it is physiological and recoverable if sufficient carnitine, niacin and riboflavin is provided. This also causes energy deficiency inside cells and normal functioning of hepatic cells would hamper. Very soon this condition become pathological and starts mortality.

It is important to note here that sometimes in such conditions choline supplementation would not work and mortality continues. Certainly in this situation hepatic energy deficiency is main reason of mortality that is due to non utilization of fatty acids.

It is therapeutic use of carnitine which cannot be underestimated while treating fatty liver in layers and high yielding cows.
